Light Line Hydraulic

Reduced weight is hard to beat

The NZ Light Line consists of three different lightweight construction types with which weight savings of up to 70% can be achieved. The cylinder design is customer-specific and is therefore 100% compatible with your current system. Toughest operating conditions with pressure surges up to 1000bar, critical transverse forces and adverse environmental conditions such as salt on roads can be taken into account in the NZ Light Line design.

The basis for NZ lightweight construction is a topology optimisation of the cylinder components, aluminium as lightweight construction material, and NZ special joining technology. The portfolio also includes the material combination of aluminium with carbon fibre. Here, the cylinder shape is converted with the aid of a winding around the cylinder housing by means of carbon fibre ribbons.

Light weight for greater safety

As a specialist for safety-relevant lightweight cylinders according to DIN EN 280, all detailed calculations as well as safety-relevant special cases are taken into account for the lightweight design. For example: Aerial work platforms thus improve their operating radius, payload and stability.

Your benefits at a glance

  • Lower fuel consumption
  • achievable weight restrictions
  • Simple overall construction
  • Improved radius of action
  • Shorter cycle time
  • Heavier payload
  • easier handling and therefore shorter assembly time
  • Reduced ground pressure
  • Reduced displacement
  • Increased structural stability
